Draper 3 Piece Nut Splitter Set

About this product

The Draper 3 Piece Nut Splitter Set provides a reliable solution for removing corroded or damaged nuts without damaging the underlying bolt threads. This essential workshop tool set is designed for automotive mechanics, engineers and maintenance professionals who regularly encounter seized or rusted fasteners that conventional spanners cannot shift. Each nut splitter in this set features a drop forged steel body that has been hardened and tempered for exceptional durability, finished with a protective plated coating to resist corrosion. The threaded splitting pin is manufactured from chrome molybdenum steel, hardened and tempered to withstand the high forces required to split stubborn nuts, with a chemically blackened finish for longevity. The set covers three capacity ranges to handle common metric fastener sizes: 9-12mm, 12-16mm and 16-22mm. This versatility makes the set suitable for a wide range of applications, from removing seized wheel nuts and exhaust manifold studs to freeing corroded engine mounts and suspension components. The splitting action applies focused force to crack the nut cleanly whilst preserving the integrity of the bolt thread beneath, allowing components to be removed and bolts to be reused.
