Draper Brake Pad Thickness Gauge

About this product

The Draper Brake Pad Thickness Gauge is an essential brake service tool designed for accurate measurement of brake pad wear and remaining lining life. This professional gauge features eight offset blades that insert between the brake disc and pad backing plate, enabling quick assessment without wheel removal. Each blade is clearly marked in both metric and imperial measurements, making it suitable for work on a wide range of domestic and imported vehicles. The colour-coded blade system provides instant visual indication of pad condition: red blades (2mm, 3mm) signal immediate replacement required, yellow blades (4mm, 5mm, 6mm) indicate replacement due soon, and green blades (8mm, 10mm, 12mm) confirm satisfactory pad thickness. This intuitive design speeds up brake inspections and helps mechanics communicate pad condition clearly to customers during routine servicing and MOT preparation work. Ideal for independent garages, mobile mechanics and fleet maintenance workshops, this brake pad gauge delivers consistent measurements across disc brake applications. The 127mm blade length provides adequate reach for most common brake configurations, whilst the display packaging keeps the tool organised and readily accessible in toolboxes or service bays. Features and Benefits: • Eight-blade design covers full range of brake pad thickness measurements • Dual metric and imperial markings for versatility across vehicle types • Colour-coded system for instant wear level identification •…
