Draper IST In Line Ignition Spark Tester

About this product

The Draper IST In-Line Ignition Spark Tester is a diagnostic tool designed for quickly identifying ignition faults in vehicles and petrol-powered equipment. This hands-free tester features a 43mm clear inspection tunnel that provides instant visual confirmation of spark presence, eliminating guesswork when diagnosing ignition problems. The inline design clips easily into position between the spark plug and ignition lead, requiring no external power source as it draws current directly from the ignition system. With its compact dimensions and pocket-friendly size, this tester is ideal for mobile mechanics, small engine repair technicians, and professionals servicing garden machinery such as chainsaws, trimmers, and lawnmowers. The 57mm probe length and 100mm lead make it suitable for accessing spark plugs in confined engine bays and tight compartments commonly found in both automotive and power tool applications. The spark plug connector measures 66mm in length with a 5.3mm lead diameter, providing compatibility with standard ignition systems.
