The Sealey 2 Piece 1/2" Drive Alloy Wheel Impact Socket Set is a specialist socket set designed to tackle swollen chrome-plated wheel nuts that standard sockets cannot grip. This professional-grade tool is essential for garages, mobile mechanics and technicians who regularly work with alloy wheels where chromium-plated caps have expanded beyond standard socket sizes. Manufactured from chrome molybdenum steel, these impact sockets are tempered and anodised for exceptional corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The thin-walled design makes them compatible with impact wrenches and power tools, whilst the external sleeve protects both alloy wheels and nuts from damage during removal. The 6-point configuration ensures maximum contact with wheel nuts, reducing the risk of rounding. The half-size sockets measure 18.5mm and 19.5mm, providing the precise fitment needed when standard 18mm and 19mm sockets prove too small for swollen chrome caps. This makes the set particularly valuable for work on European vehicles where chrome-capped wheel nuts are common, allowing secure fitment and safe removal without damaging the wheel or fastener. Features and Benefits: • Half-size sockets (18.5mm and 19.5mm) for secure fitment on swollen chrome-capped wheel nuts • Chrome molybdenum construction with tempering and anodising for durability • Thin-walled impact-rated design suitable for use with power tools • External sleeve prevents damage to alloy wheels and wheel nuts • 6-point…
