Sealey Explosive Safe Wide Base Jerry Can

About this product

The Sealey Explosive Safe Wide Base Jerry Can (JC10RY) is a 10-litre fuel storage can engineered with internal safety technology to significantly reduce the risk of explosion during storage and transport. At the heart of this jerry can is a honeycomb metal alloy cell structure that occupies just 2% of the can's internal volume. These cells dissipate heat and minimise localised heat build-up — two key factors in reducing the risk of fuel ignition. The internal mesh also limits fuel movement, helping to prevent spillage when the can is carried or transported. The can features an epoxy coating for strong corrosion resistance, making it suitable for prolonged use in workshop, site, or storage environments. The neck is compatible with standard fuel dispensing equipment, with a 20mm depth and 34mm internal diameter, ensuring straightforward use with commonly available nozzles and dispensing accessories.
