Sealey Pocket Tyre Tread Depth Dial Gauge

About this product

The Sealey Pocket Tyre Tread Depth Dial Gauge is a compact analogue measuring tool designed to provide fast, accurate tyre tread depth readings for motorists, mechanics, and tyre technicians. The standout feature of this gauge is its intuitive colour-coded dial system, which takes the guesswork out of tyre safety checks. Green indicates a healthy tyre (11–3mm), yellow signals that replacement is advisable (2.99–1.6mm), and red marks an illegal tread depth (1.59–0mm) — making it immediately clear whether a tyre meets the UK legal minimum requirement. Built with a heavy-duty steel body, this pocket gauge is designed to withstand the demands of regular workshop or roadside use. The easy-to-read 45mm analogue display with a 0–11mm scale in 1mm graduations ensures reliable readings without the need for batteries or digital components. A protective pouch is included to keep the gauge safe when not in use. Ideal for garages, tyre fitters, and fleet maintenance teams, this tool provides a quick and reliable method of checking compliance during vehicle inspections, MOT preparation, or routine safety checks.
