Sealey Portable Soda Blasting Gun

About this product

The Sealey Portable Soda Blasting Gun is a versatile compressed air tool designed for gentle yet effective surface cleaning and preparation. This handheld blasting system offers controlled removal of paint, mould, carbon, grease and rust without the aggressive surface damage associated with traditional abrasive blasting methods. Constructed from strong composite resin for durability whilst keeping the weight down to just 0.52kg, this portable unit features an adjustable nozzle that allows operators to control the spray pattern from a narrow concentrated stream to a wider coverage area. The gun operates at 75-115psi with an air consumption of 8.5cfm at 90psi, making it compatible with most workshop compressor setups. Particularly useful for delicate restoration work, the soda blasting method can be used around windows without etching glass and is suitable for stripping paint from wooden furniture when adjusted correctly. The process is gentle enough for use on food industry machinery, with soda blasting being an A1 rated cleaning agent. An additional benefit is that treated surfaces will inhibit rust formation for up to six weeks after blasting, providing temporary corrosion protection on bare metal. Simple to operate, just add dry blasting soda into the container and connect to your compressed air source to begin work.
