Sealey PU Coated Vehicle Fire Safety Blanket

About this product

The Sealey PU Coated Vehicle Fire Safety Blanket is a professional fire containment solution designed for electric, hybrid, petrol and diesel vehicles. This large-scale fire blanket provides rapid deployment capabilities to contain flames, smoke and toxic fumes from vehicle fires, making it essential safety equipment for commercial garages, multi-storey car parks, ferry operators and breakdown recovery services. Manufactured from high-performance high silica material with a protective PU coating, this blanket withstands continuous working temperatures up to 1000°C and instant temperatures up to 1500°C. The 0.6mm thick construction features high-grade stitching specifically engineered to handle the extreme conditions of thermal runaway incidents in EV battery fires. By effectively starving oxygen to self-oxygenating lithium-ion battery fires, it helps prevent the spread of flames and toxic fumes to surrounding vehicles and infrastructure. The 6 x 8 metre blanket provides comprehensive coverage for most vehicle types and arrives in a durable waterproof storage bag with integrated carrying straps for straightforward transportation and storage. Subject to careful inspection after each use, the blanket can be reused up to five times if the fabric remains uncompromised, offering long-term value for fleet operators and emergency response teams. Once deployed, the blanket should remain in position until emergency services complete their assessment. Features and Benefits: • Suitable…
