Sealey RE231 Hydraulic Coil Spring Compressing Station

About this product

The Sealey RE231 is a hydraulic coil spring compressing station designed for safe and efficient suspension work in automotive workshops. This foot-operated hydraulic unit offers a faster, safer alternative to traditional ratchet-driven spring compressors, making it ideal for garages and mobile mechanics handling regular suspension repairs and spring replacement jobs. With a robust 1500kg capacity, this spring compressor station handles a wide range of coil springs from Ø80mm to Ø175mm diameter. The plastic-coated yokes provide enhanced grip whilst reducing the risk of spring slippage or damage during compression, protecting both the component and the operator. Seven upper yoke positions and 340mm of lower yoke travel provide excellent versatility across different spring sizes and vehicle types. The foot pedal actuation keeps both hands free for positioning and adjusting the spring, improving control and safety during the compression process. This hydraulic station is particularly suitable for workshops carrying out suspension overhauls, strut replacements, and spring changes on cars, light commercial vehicles, and similar applications where coil spring removal is required. Features and Benefits: • Foot-operated hydraulic system for hands-free operation and improved safety • Plastic-coated yokes reduce spring slippage and prevent component damage • 1500kg capacity handles most passenger car and light commercial vehicle springs • Accommodates spring diameters from Ø80mm to…
