The Sealey Soda Blasting Conversion Kit (Model No. SB99.KIT) transforms your SB997 or SB998 shot blaster for gentle, specialist cleaning applications. This conversion accessory enables soda blasting, a non-aggressive surface preparation method particularly valued in classic car restoration and delicate metalwork projects. Quick and simple to fit, this kit switches your existing shot blaster to use sodium bicarbonate media instead of traditional abrasive materials. Soda blasting offers distinct advantages for sensitive restoration work, as it will not etch glass, warp thin metal panels, or remove material from the substrate. The process leaves surfaces smooth and clean, making it ideal for preparing bodywork and components where preserving original dimensions is critical. The soda media also deposits a rust inhibitor that provides corrosion protection for up to six weeks after blasting, giving you time to apply protective coatings or continue with your restoration schedule. This makes the conversion kit especially suitable for classic car enthusiasts and professional restorers working with vintage vehicles where gentle, controlled surface preparation is essential. Features and Benefits: • Compatible with Sealey SB997 and SB998 shot blasters • Non-aggressive soda blasting won't damage glass or thin metal • Leaves rust inhibitor protection for up to six weeks • Quick and simple installation process • Ideal for classic car restoration projects Specifications: Brand: Sealey Nett…
