The Sealey Suspension Split Hub and Ball Joint Spreader is a specialist automotive tool designed for the removal and fitting of suspension struts whilst leaving the hub in the vehicle. This compact spreader keeps suspension hubs separate and open, allowing mechanics to service both larger upper split hubs and lower ball joint split joints efficiently and without risk of damage to components. Manufactured from high quality steel for strength and durability, this tool is particularly suited to work on VW, Audi, Ford and BMW vehicles. Its compact design makes it ideal for use in space-limited applications where access around the suspension assembly is restricted, simplifying what can otherwise be a challenging task. The tool achieves a maximum outer spread of 15mm and a maximum cut-out spread of 12mm, providing sufficient opening capacity for most common suspension strut replacement jobs. With a maximum torque rating of 13Nm, it's designed for use with hand tools only, ensuring controlled operation during delicate suspension work.
