The Sealey Truck Cabin Shock Absorber Spring Compressor is a specialised tool designed for the safe removal and installation of cabin spring shock absorbers on commercial vehicles. This professional-grade compressor is suitable for many applications including Volvo Trucks FM, FH 500P and 540P models, making it an essential tool for truck workshops and commercial vehicle technicians. Engineered with safety as a priority, the compressor features carefully shaped safety yokes that prevent the spring from bowing during compression, ensuring controlled and secure operation throughout the servicing process. The tool utilises a 1/2" square drive and must not exceed 80Nm torque, with manual operation only – it is not suitable for use with power tools. The spring compressor is designed to handle cabin springs with an internal diameter of Ø65mm and external diameter of Ø89mm. For enhanced efficiency, this compressor is compatible with the Sealey Model No. RE252 shock absorber wrench, which facilitates easy removal of the shock absorber top nut.
