The Sealey VS005 is a precision refractometer designed for testing battery fluid, antifreeze and screenwash solutions in automotive and workshop environments. This optical testing instrument measures fluid concentration by analysing the refractive index of light passing through the sample, providing accurate readings essential for vehicle maintenance and winterisation tasks. Suitable for a wide range of modern antifreeze formulations, this refractometer works with synthetic mixtures including long-life OAT (Organic Acid Technology) and G13 coolants. The temperature-corrected prism compensates for ambient conditions to ensure consistent, reliable readings across different working environments. The adjustable focus eyepiece allows precise calibration for individual users, improving measurement accuracy. Ideal for mechanics, vehicle technicians and fleet maintenance professionals who need to verify coolant protection levels, check battery electrolyte concentration, or confirm screenwash dilution ratios. The lightweight, portable design makes it practical for both workshop bench use and mobile servicing applications. Complete with sampling pipette and protective storage case for safe transport between jobs. Features and Benefits: • Temperature-corrected prism ensures accurate readings in varying workshop conditions • Compatible with modern OAT and G13 antifreeze formulations • Adjustable focus eyepiece for user-specific calibration • Supplied with pipette and storage case for…
