Sealey VS0061 Combustion Leak Detector Kit

About this product

The Sealey VS0061 Combustion Leak Detector Kit is a professional diagnostic tool designed to identify head gasket failures, cracked cylinder blocks and damaged cylinder heads in both petrol and diesel vehicles. This essential workshop tool detects carbon dioxide presence in the cooling system through a simple colour-change test fluid method, providing quick and reliable diagnosis of combustion leaks. The kit works by drawing a sample of vapour from the cooling system through the test fluid, which changes colour when CO2 from combustion gases is present. This chemical reaction provides clear visual confirmation of head gasket failure or crack-related issues, helping technicians and mechanics accurately diagnose cooling system problems without the need for costly exploratory work. The detector features a universal cone adaptor for direct radiator fitting and is also compatible with various Sealey radiator cap adaptors including models VS001, VS0011, VS0013, VS0014, VS0033, VS006, VS006F and VS006V. This versatility makes the kit suitable for use across a wide range of vehicle makes and models in professional workshops and garages. Features and Benefits: • Chemical colour-change indicator provides clear visual confirmation of combustion leaks • Works on both petrol and diesel engines for versatile workshop use • Compatible with multiple Sealey radiator cap adaptors for different vehicle applications • Refillable system with replacement test fluid available (VS0061F)…
