Sealey VS0275 Boil Test Brake Fluid Tester

About this product

The Sealey VS0275 is a professional brake fluid tester that uses the boil test method to accurately measure moisture content in brake fluid. This diagnostic tool is essential for workshops and mobile mechanics who need to assess brake fluid condition reliably, as even small amounts of water contamination can significantly compromise braking performance. By measuring the boiling point of the fluid, this tester identifies moisture levels that would otherwise go undetected. Just 3% moisture content can reduce the brake fluid boiling point by over 100°C, creating a serious safety risk under heavy braking conditions. The unit features an integrated heater element and clear LCD display for precise readings, with results displayed directly on screen. Designed for versatility across vehicle types, the tester works with DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5 and DOT 5.1 specification fluids, making it suitable for testing brake systems on cars, vans, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles. The 12V DC power lead allows convenient operation from a vehicle battery or suitable power supply, whilst the included storage case protects the unit between jobs and ensures full operating instructions are always to hand. Features and Benefits: • Boil test method provides the most accurate detection of small water content levels • LCD display for clear, easy-to-read results • Compatible with all common brake fluid types (DOT 3, 4, 5 and 5.1) • 12V DC operation for use directly from vehicle battery or workshop…
