The Sealey VS790 is a specialist stretch belt installation tool designed specifically for Ford and Volvo petrol engines where standard universal tools cannot access the belt due to wider crankshaft pulley designs. This professional-grade kit provides an efficient solution for mechanics working on Ford 1.4 and 1.6 engines (Focus, C-Max, Mondeo) and Volvo 1.6 engines (S40, C30, V50). The tool comprises two precision components that work together to simplify stretch belt fitting. One part clips securely over the crankshaft pulley to guide the belt into position, whilst the other component fits over the water pump pulley. Using a standard 17mm socket, the tool is simply rotated until the belt is correctly located across all pulleys, eliminating the frustration and time typically associated with restricted-access installations. This dedicated tool is ideal for workshops and mobile mechanics regularly servicing Ford and Volvo vehicles, particularly when dealing with auxiliary belt replacements on common petrol engine variants. The VS790 saves valuable workshop time on jobs where conventional methods prove impractical due to limited working space around the crankshaft pulley area. Features and Benefits: • Purpose-designed for Ford and Volvo engines where universal tools cannot reach • Two-part system guides belt accurately over crankshaft and water pump pulleys • Simple operation using standard 17mm socket • Time-saving solution for restricted-access belt installations…
