The Sealey VSE5042A is a comprehensive engine timing tool kit designed for professional mechanics working on Ford and PSA Group vehicles. This combination kit provides essential timing tools for both petrol and diesel engines, covering an extensive range of belt and chain driven applications across multiple manufacturers including Ford, Peugeot, Citroen, Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, Suzuki, Toyota and Fiat. Engineered to replicate OEM tools at a more accessible price point, this kit includes critical components such as a camshaft sprocket puller and flywheel locking tools. The comprehensive selection enables accurate timing procedures on engines from 1.2 through to 2.3 litre capacities, including popular units such as Ford EcoBoost variants, PSA HDi and Blue-HDi diesels, and Volvo's D4164T/D4162T engines. The kit is ideal for independent garages and mobile mechanics who service multiple vehicle brands, eliminating the need to purchase separate manufacturer-specific tool sets. It's particularly valuable for timing belt replacement, camshaft and crankshaft positioning, and engine rebuild work where precise timing alignment is critical. All tools are supplied in a protective storage case with comprehensive instructions and a warning tag for workshop safety compliance. The kit covers hundreds of vehicle applications from 1993 through to 2021 model years, making it an essential investment for workshops handling European and Asian vehicle servicing.
