Sirius Explosion Safe Metal Jerry Can

About this product

This is the 5 litre Yellow variant of the Sirius Explosion Safe Metal Jerry Can — a compact and easily portable option ideal for keeping a modest emergency fuel reserve in a vehicle, on a worksite, or in storage. Its smaller footprint makes it straightforward to handle and stow. Like all Sirius explosion safe cans, it features an internal aluminium honeycomb mesh that takes up just 2% of the total volume and prevents the fuel inside from igniting explosively if exposed to sparks or naked flames. The steel body and REZOL enamel lining provide long-term durability and fuel resistance. Every can is factory-tested under ADR-regulated hydraulic pressure (2.5 Bar for 5 minutes), full submersion leak testing (0.3 Bar for 5 minutes), and drop-tested from 1.8 metres, with handles tested from 0.8 metres. Features and Benefits: • Aluminium honeycomb mesh prevents explosive ignition • 0.8mm cold-rolled steel (DC04EN 10130) construction • Epoxy-polyester powder-coated rust-proof exterior • REZOL enamel interior lining resists fuel, oil and alcohol • Dual pan construction, seam welded for extra strength • Wide-channel breather for glug-free, splash-free pouring • Leakproof bayonet closure with stainless steel locking pin • Fuel-resistant rubber seal in cap • Cap holds open during discharge; strengthened hinge prevents bending • Certified to Swedish SP, German TUV/GS, UN Dangerous Goods, DIN 7274 and BAM-GGR001 standards Specifications: Volume: 5L Colour: Yellow Dimensions (W x H x D):…
